Note that although most biographies of playwright and diseuse Isadora Newman (e.g., Wikipedia, Jewish Women's Archive) list her as having died in 1955, she is clearly listed in the printed program for this event, with an extensive biography that makes clear this is not a case of mistaken identity, so it is unclear whether the biographies are wrong, or if the program for this event was printed so far in advance that she passed away before the performance (which seems unlikely).&#13;
