<rdfs:comment>Philip Glass is the holder of the 2017-2018 Richard and Barbara Debs Composer's Chair at Carnegie Hall.
There was a pre-concert talk at 7:00 PM in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with Carlos Miguel Prieto, Music Director and Conductor, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, in conversation with Nadia Sirota, host of Meet the Composer podcast.
Philip Glass was present, and acknowledged applause for his Concerto Fantasy from his seat in the house box.
Composer Gabriela Ortiz was present in the Parquet, and came to the stage from the house to acknowledge applause for her work (performed as the encore).
