<rdfs:comment>There was a pre-concert talk at 7PM with Walter Frisch, Professor of Music, Columbia University.
Piotr Anderszewski made the following announcement before performing the Szymanowski Symphonie concertante: "As a Polish citizen I, as is everyone, am very upset about the recent tragedy that has befallen the Polish people. I and the orchestra would like to dedicate this performance of the Szymanowski Symphonie concertante to the memory of the victims of this accident--and to the Polish people." Anderszewski also asked for a moment of silence. His announcement referred to the plane crash on April 10 in Russia that killed Polish President Lech Kaczynski and 95 others.</rdfs:comment>
