<rdfs:comment>Benefit: African Research Foundation
According to the New York Times, the concert "was interrupted briefly as Mr. Davis' quintet was playing the first selection following the intermission when a man in a white jacked walked out to the middle of the stage, sat down directly behind the footlights, and held aloft a sign reading, "Africa for Africans". When it became apparent that the man intended to stay there, Mr. Davis halted the music and walked off the stage. After a momentary pause, three men came out and carried the sign-carrier off."
