<rdfs:comment>"An historical reproduction of the American Debut of the Swedish Nightingale in Castle Garden, on September 11, 1850. Frieda Hempel as Jenny Lind - Arthur Middleton as Signor Belletti - Ole Windingstad as M. Benedict"
In his New York Times review of this performance (Oct. 7, 1920, pg. 26), Richard Aldrich notes that the selection for two pianos was not by Julius Benedict (conductor of the original Lind concert in 1850), but rather Carl Reinecke's Improvisation on a Gavotte by Gluck, Op. 125.The printed program mistakenly identifies the selection as a work by Thalberg.
