- Tchaikovsky's "Les Saisons" was performed in two parts, with the first six sections (January - June) opening the program, and the second six (July - December) preceding Prokofiev's Piano Sonata No. 7 to open the second half. Also, as per an insert in the printed program, Earl Wild's arrangement of "Dance of the Four Swans" from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake replaced the originally-programmed Rachmaninoff arrangement of the Scherzo from Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
