Title: Three Pianos and Two Guitars
CBS made a commercial recording of this concert, on which the 11-piece Cuban group Irakere, an unannounced addition to the program, was making its North American debut. Bassist Buster Williams performed with pianist Mary Lou Williams, and Maynard Ferguson and Stan Getz joined in a jam session with Irakere. The recording won a Grammy Award in 1979 for Best Latin Recording.
