  • Note that Leon Barzin and the National Orchestral Association gave the premiere of a cello concerto by George Kleinsinger on 1/9/1950. The notes for this program suggest that Kleinsinger destroyed that concerto (different movement designations than this one) and began work on a new concerto in 1951, completing it in 1963.
