- The Lucie Awards, presented by the Lucie Foundation, is an annual gala ceremony that recognizes photographers for their contributions to the photographic community. Each year, the Lucie Advisory Board nominates deserving individuals across a variety of genres. In addition, the Lucie Foundation's sister-effort, the International Photography Awards (IPA) presents the top winners from its global competition. Lucies are also presented to the year’s best in photography: from book publishers, picture editors, and curators to fashion layouts, print advertising campaigns, and photography magazines.
