According to the article, "To an audience that crowded into every seat and aisle of the main floor, the stage, and the balconies of Carnegie Hall last night the Rev. Dr. C. T. Walker, pastor of the Mount Olivet Colored Baptist Church, spoke in defense of his race and in reply to W. Bourke Cockran and other speakers at the recent Montgomery conference and to the Rev. Henry Frank, who assailed the negro race at Carnegie Hall a week ago."
