Very few composer names are listed in the program, so it is unclear which works may have been composed by Turgun Alimatov. According to a press release about this event posted by the Center for Traditional Music (http://www.ctmd.org/), "this concert will present the vocal and instrumental components of the Shashmaqam repertoire in the way they were performed in royal courts prior to the twentieth century," which seems to indicate many of the selections were either traditional pieces or at least works not written by Alimatov.
