- Presented by the Weill Music Institute
From the CH website:
"Through this yearlong curriculum, students engage in skills-based activities, listening, and creative work; meet local musicians; learn vocal repertoire from different cultures, languages, and traditions; and make meaningful connections with their communities. Each semester's study culminates in an interactive concert in Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall. Students meet vocalists representing Syrian, Mexican, Jazz, Haitian, old-time American Swing, and Balkan song traditions. Audio resources for teachers are provided."
