From the article: "The Rev. Dr. John Roach Straton, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, won the debate on evolution against the Rev. Charles Francis Potter, pastor of the West Side Unitarian Church, at Carnegie Hall last night. The debate, with Mr. Potter, a Modernist, supporting evolution, and Dr. Straton, a Fundamentalist, opposing it, was the second of a series, Mr. Potter having won the first when Dr. Straton failed to get the decision in his attempt to uphold the infallibility of the Bible."
