Title: Opera Night
Entered from New York Times concert listing and information contained in "A Jussi Björling Phonography" by Harald Henrysson, curator of the Jussi Björling Museum in Borlänge, Sweden. Additional details added/confirmed from recording of this concert, released by VAI Records. The Times, Henrysson, and the recording differ in several instances. While the Times lists the solo selections for Björling as Donizetti's "Una furtiva lagrima" and Rimsky-Korsakov's "Song of India," Henrysson and the recording list instead Puccini's "Recondita armonia" and Meyerbeer's "O paradiso" (entered here). For the final vocal selection, the Times lists a duet for Grace Moore and Björling from Verdi's "La Traviata," while Henrysson and the recording instead list a trio from Gounod's "Faust" (entered here), noting that Björling sung his part in Swedish.
