According to the New York Times, "Confident that public sentiment will compel the Sixty-sixth Congress to pass the Suffrage Amendment, the twenty-six campaigners of the "Demcracy Limited, the Prison Special," ended their cross-country tour last night when 3,500 women gave them a hearty reception in Carnegie Hall. Following speeches and the donation of several thousand dollars to help pay the cost of the trip, the meeting unanimously adopted a resolution calling upon President Wilson to hold an extraordinary session of Congress to pass the amendment."
