- Entered from New York Times concert listing and review. The review states that Kohon performed "a sonata by Martinu, which received its first concert performance." It is unclear if this was the Sonatina of 1939, one of the Five Madrigal Stanzas of 1943, or perhaps even an early performance of the Sonata for Violin and Piano No.3 (although a performance of that work on 12/18/1945 by Angel Reyes in the main hall claimed to be the world premiere of that work).
