  • Some of the nonspecific repertoire listings in the printed concert program have been clarified as per the review published in the New York Times. Additionally, Australian pianist and academic researcher Scott Davie (also citing Sophia Satina, cousing and sister-in-law of Rachmaninoff) suggests that the Mozart "Sonata No. 14" is most likely not the Sonata in C minor, K. 457, since this work was not known to have been part of Rachmaninoff's repertoire. Since the published movement listings align closely with the Sonata in D major, K. 576, Davie believes this was most likely the work performed. Additionally, Davie believes that the Scarlatti D minor sonata performed was most likely L. 413 (K. 9), which Rachmaninoff recorded. Downes, Olin. "MUSIC: RACHMANINOFF AGAIN TRIUMPHS.
