- Selections, which are not listed in the printed concert program, have been added from the New York Times review. Comedian John Byner was the opening act, followed by Nina Simone, and then Harry James and His Orchestra. Tenor saxophonist Corky Corcoran and drummer Buddy Rich are mentioned in the review, but the rest of the Harry James orchestra personnel is not listed.
