According to the review, comedian Steve Martin, who opened the show, later joined on banjo with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and John Hartford for a jam session. While it lists the various instruments played by John McEuen, there is no indication of which instrument(s) he played on each song, and it only notes that Jeff Hanna and Jimmy Ibbotson "alternately fronted the group on lead vocals".
