- Dmitry Shostakovich's Suite from "The Nose", Op. 15a, is listed as the final work for this concert in both the printed program (where it is marked as a U.S. premiere) and the New York Times weekly listing, which was published two days before the concert. The program notes do not list the Shostakovich work, and Olin Downes does not mention it in his review, instead explicitly mentioning Howard Hanson Suite from "Merry Mount", which is also listed in the program notes. This apparent program substitution is reflected here.
