  • Tenor Allen McQuhae, who was originally scheduled to perform, was unable to appear due to illness. He was to have sung two arias from Beethoven's "Christ on the Mount of Olives," Op. 85, and Liszt's setting of Psalm XXXIII. His selections were replaced by Wagner's "Siegfried Idyll" and Liszt's "Tasso" (exact placement within the program order is not known). "ORCHESTRA PLAYS ALONE." New York Times (1857-1922), Mar 01 1920, pp. 16.
