- According to the review published in the New York Times, this recital was a benefit for the Henry Street Settlement, noting, "Boxes and stage were crowded and the floor sold out at $10 rates, earning about $10,000 for the work of the settlement's music school." Encore information added from handwritten notations in one copy of the printed concert program, which indicate one additional (unidentified) encore was performed.
