- Entered from flyer and review. Flyer lists a work by Charles Griffes among the selections to be performed, but since flyer notes that the announced program was tentative, and review does not mention the Griffes work, it has not been entered here.
Note also that a New York Times article dated April 20, 1919 states that Edgar Varese resigned his conductorship of the New Symphony Orchestra on April 19. Artur Bodanzky was asked to conduct the next two scheduled performances, April 25 and 26. Bodanzky asked that these concerts be postponed to May 2 and 3, given the limited amount of available rehearsal time. His request was granted, although ultimately the concerts took place on May 1 and 2, 1919. No evidence could be found that concerts advertised for May 9 and 10 ever took place.
